The Cultural – Folk Ensemble ,, BISER,, from Kicevo is a representative of the Macedonian folklore thought the colorful Macedonian national dances and melodies of the traditional songs.

The ensemble during it's 23 year existence has a rich repertoire of dances and songs from all over the country, and with special interest represents the famous folk motives from Kicevo and Western Macedonia region, such as the region known as Kopacka.

KUD “Biser” besides the dancing group in it’s composition has men and women vocal group, has complete orchestra with rare original and national instruments and during it’s performance one can hear the sound of the drum, the bagpipe, the tamburitza and Macedonian flute. Over hundred and seventy boys and girls , members of the ensemble with great love and enthusiasm for the national dances and song faithfully and authentically in artistic style interpret them and do not allow them to be forgotten with time.

For KUD “Biser” as a worthy representative of the country’s tradition, speak not only the successful concerts, not only the concerts in the country and abroad, but also the great applause and awards from Macedonia and from abroad.

KUD “Biser” during it’s existence managed to win three first places on the annual festival “Ilindenski Denovi” in Bitola,first place on the festival “Todorica” in Sveti Nikole,The Grand Prize on the festival “Pece Atanasovski” in Dolneni,Prilep.

KUD “Biser” is very proud with the participation and the results from the many festivals attended. Ensemble presents Macedonian folk tradition at numerous international folk festivals in Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkiye ,Serbia, Croatia and others.The ensemble has won numerous international awards.

Everywhere KUD “Biser” has performed, the performances are much attended with great joy, applause and true appreciation for the beautiful dances, the songs, the great melodies,the instrumental virtuous and the original national costumes (some of them are even up to 100 years old).

The ensemble has great challenges, lots of performances planned, lots of the national dances and songs in front of the audience in Macedonia and all over the world.
