FOLKLORE SOCIETY LANCOVA VAS, SLOVENIA

Folklore Society Lancova Vas was founded in 1983 and since then it has been the goal to preserve national heritage – dance, songs, music customs and habits as well as the carnival tradition. The acknowledged Slovenian experts in the field of folklore society have performed a research of the typical dances, the culture of clothing, costumes and traditional carnival masks. On the basis of these researches group costumes were formed and the program which is presented at the shows in Slovenia and in performances abroad.
