Festival Awards
In each category, the jury awards the following main prizes:
- "Golden Ciupaga" – 1st place prize
- "Silver Ciupaga" – 2nd place prize
- "Bronze Ciupaga" – 3rd place prize
Winners of the "Golden Ciupaga" also receive a monetary prize of 15,000 PLN gross, primarily funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
The jury also awards official distinctions in the form of the "Góralska Parzenica".
Additionally, the jury may grant the following special awards:
- Jean Roche Award – for the faithful recreation of rituals and their mystical significance;
- Professor Roman Reinfuss Award – the Iron Rooster statuette along with a monetary prize of 5,000 PLN, funded by the Małopolska Cultural Centre "Sokół" in Nowy Sącz. This award is given to a Polish group competing in Category I, for authenticity, fidelity to tradition, and the presentation of customs and rituals.
- Tytus Chałubiński Tatra Museum Award in Zakopane – a monetary prize of 6,881 PLN awarded for an artistic interpretation of the traditions of the mountain region from which the group originates.
Additional special prizes and gifts are also planned for participating groups, funded by institutions and organizations co-organizing the festival.
